From seashell arrangements to fused glass to driftwood chimes, how can you tell if any of it is genuinely handmade in Aruba? Look for one of these ”Seyo Nacional pa Artesania Aruba” cards.
When an artist or artisan wants to certify their art as being handmade in Aruba, they apply for these cards issued by the government.
Representatives then head over to the local artist’s studio to see how, and where their art is created.
Once they have proven that they make the art here in Aruba, they are granted permission to use these cards.
